Connect to your Android mobile by using the USB cable or via WiFi Mode. Then, from the simple dual-pane interface, access and manage all the data that is stored on your Android mobile. That is, in a nutshell, the functionality you can expect to get from Android Commander, a free file management tool for Windows-powered PCs.

A standard installation process goes something like this: download an installer, run the installer, click through the instructions presented by a setup wizard. I bring that up because installing Android Commander on a Windows PC is a standard procedure. You will have to go through the steps presented above to get Android Commander up and running on your PC.

If your Android is connected via the USB cable to your PC, Android Commander will launch and will present its dual-pane interface.
If your Android is not connected via USB cable to your PC, Android Commander will invite you to use WiFi Mode or No Device Mode.

Here are the main bits of functionality you can expect to get from Android Commander: view all the data stored on your Android; manage all the data stored on your Android (copy, delete, rename, and more ); transfer data to and from your Android; view info about your Android device (model, OS version, available storage space, battery level, and more); search for apps.

Cons:
None that I could think of.

Pros

To get Android Commander up and running on your PC you must go through a standard installation procedure. Connect via USB or WiFi Mode. Android Commander has a user friendly, dual-pane interface. View and manage data stored on your Android. Android Commander is free software (consider making a donation).

Cons

ider making a donation if you want to support Android Commander. Easily manage all the data stored on your Android from Android Commander’s dual-pane interface.
